KING OYO ON GORILLA TREEKING

Meanwhile, today was a great day in Buhoma in Bwindii Impenetrable National Park.

UWA was honoured to host his Highnes, the King of Toro, with his family members and other important dignitaries, including the Vice Chair of the Board of UTB, Ron Kawamara, UTB staff and other tourists from other countries.

The King who arrived yesterday was received by the Ag Chief Warden and briefed at his hotel. Today in the morning, we were welcomed by the Director Tourism and Business Development, Stephen Sanyi Masaba at Buhoma,Visitor information Centre.

The delegation tracked Binyindo gorilla family with 6 members under Silverback, Kavuyo. It was an interesting experience. The King made a passionate call for Ugandans to be patriotic and visit the tourism sites to support conservation and also called on government to create animal corridors to help animal movement.

The King later bestowed upon Stephen Masaba, the pety name Araali.
